THE BRIEF
A single storey ground floor rear extension is proposed to accommodate the demands of the existing kitchen and dining service during prayer times and open space for the attendees to congregate at the spiritual center. A part first floor rear extension is also proposed to enlarge an existing room and include a shower room.
The first floor back addition element would sit above the existing kitchen extension and is of similar appearance and materials to the host building. The extension would be of an acceptable visual appearance and of a bulk and mass that would be sympathetic to the host building and wider area.
