Planning permission approved for a Property developer in Bexley. After 3 failed attempts by previous Architects, KLC Architects approached the Planners at Bexley Council, obtained a site visit, and secured Planning permission on the first attempt!
THE BRIEF
The original house had been extended in the past. The kitchen and utility rooms at the back of the house were small and dark and needed to be comprehensively redesigned to make a spacious room for the couple’s two children.
Furthermore, the house had suffered from previously unmanaged planning application by previous Architects and we were approached as the reliable Architects and by working with the Planners, we were able to obtain the planning permission, and works are scheduled to start in January 2021.
THE SOLUTION
Working with our team of expert engineers we effectively designed and rebuilt the house from the inside out. To make the house safe, all supporting walls are structurally safe. Currently recruiting craftsmen and traditional materials the dining, kitchen, and utility rooms are designed to connect together to create one magnificent light-filled space. KLC Architects were successful in persuading the council planners to grant permission to install a stunning double pitch roof with a glass slot window which, along with the panoramic glazed doors to the back of the house create an incredible contemporary design statement and floods the house with light.
